My artwork is driven by a need to understand the experiences that shape our internal narratives. We all have seminal moments that shape our conception of who we are; some of these moments are shared by many, and others reflect the unique experience of the individual’s path in life. These moments craft our perception of fate, resilience, joy, grief, community, and loneliness. These constructed identities color our memories, shape our behavior, and form bonds between people. My work strives to identify these seminal moments and defining stories.
